Representatives of the European Investment Fund (EIF) – Mario Marceta and Barnabás Sándor – visited Eximbanka’s headquarters in Bratislava, where they met with CEO Rastislav Podhorc and had a working meeting with colleagues from the International Relations Department, the Legal Department and the Non-Tradable Risk Insurance Department.

On 4 December 2025, Eximbanka SR welcomed in Bratislava a delegation from Montenegro, which consisted of representatives of several municipal and public institutions working in the field of waste management, together with colleagues from UNDP.

On November 25, 2025, the OECD published an evaluation report on the development cooperation of the Slovak Republic. On this occasion, an expert panel discussion was held at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, featuring Matúš Šársky, Director of International Relations at Eximbanka.

Representatives of Eximbanka discussed with the Banco Português de Fomento (BPF) concrete possibilities for cooperation. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of the Presidents of both countries, which creates a framework for further cooperation with BPF in supporting projects in the Portuguese market as well as export and development projects in third countries.

Igor Barat, Deputy Director General of Eximbanka for Banking and former Government Plenipotentiary for the introduction of the euro, met yesterday, 26 November 2025, with Bulgarian journalists whose country will pay with the euro from 1 January 2026.
