We provide guidance on how to get involved in development cooperation projects. We are a liaison point for Slovak exporters who are interested in participating in tenders of international financial institutions (World Bank Group, EBRD, etc.) and exporting to developing countries.
Are you implementing a project in a developing country that delivers measurable benefits to the host country?
Concessional export credit enables Slovak exporters to offer concessional financing to foreign public buyers in selected developing countries. Eximbanka provides either direct financing (loan) for the project or insurance for concessional export credits issued by a commercial bank.
Benefits of a Concessional Export Credit:
What is the Advantage of Concessional Financing?
Who is eligible for Concessional Export Credits?
Eligible recipients include foreign public sector entities (e.g., ministries, cities, municipalities, state-guaranteed organizations) within selected, approved developing countries. However, the project has to meet certain development criteria.
How does the concessional export credit work?
Visit us at the initial stage of preparing your project and we will help you to set up the financing and insurance structure as well as verify the development aspect of the project.
You can check the development aspect of the project in the questionnaire: in Slovak, in English.
