Yesterday, another in a series of bilateral meetings organized by Eximbanka with the management of the leading commercial banks operating in Slovakia took place. This time, we met with representatives of Slovenská sporiteľňa.
Good cooperation with commercial banks is important to us, particularly because it allows us to seek synergies and combine the options offered by commercial banking with Eximbanka’s instruments. This can result in solutions tailored to specific export transactions—whether in the areas of financing, insurance, or bank guarantees.
The discussion focused not only on cooperation to date and opportunities for its further development, but also on the current situation in the business environment, trends, and expected developments. We also addressed the challenges both institutions face in providing services to corporate clients, as well as the processes related to transaction risk analysis.
Representing Slovenská sporiteľňa at the meeting were Board Chair Michaela Bauer and Board members Marek Sásik, Pavel Cetkovský, and Slavomír Seemann. Eximbanka was represented by CEO and Chairman of the Bank’s Board Rastislav Podhorec and other members of the Bank’s Board— Milan Horváth, Pavol Tavač, and Igor Barát.
