Jozef Kiss, President of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic and Rastislav Podhorec, Director General of Eximbanka, together with Pavel Tavač, Deputy Director General of Eximbanka, today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the bank.

Last week Matúš Šársky, Eximbanka’s International Relations Director, was part of the negotiations between representatives of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and SAMRS and Ukrainian national energy companies Ukrenergo and Ukrhydroenergo directly in Kyiv.

The main message of yesterday’s “V4 Visegrad Group Summit 2025” held in Gdansk, Poland, and attended by Eximbanka representatives (Rastislav Podhorec, Eximbanka´s CEO, Pavol Tavač, Eximbanka´s Deputy CEO and Michal Demák, Eximbanka´s Non-Tradable Risk Director) was the strategic cooperation of the V4 Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) in key areas shaping the future of the Visegrad region.

Ukraine is facing one of the most difficult challenges of its modern history, the reconstruction of energy infrastructure destroyed as a result of the war.

During the summer semester, future economists from the Faculty of Business at the University of Economics in Bratislava dealt with current challenges in the field of exports, electromobility, economic diplomacy and diversification of export markets. They presented their innovative solutions directly at Eximbanka in the course Business in Practice 1 – EXIMBANKA SR.

Rastislav Podhorec, CEO of Eximbanka and Matúš Šársky, Director of the International Relations Department of Eximbanka were on 24. and 25 April 2025 as part of the working trip of Juraj Blanár, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, accompanied by a business delegation to Kyrgyzstan.
