Representatives of Eximbanka (Rastislav Podhorec, Pavol Tavač, Igor Lichnovský, Michal Demák and Matúš Šársky) took part in the Spring Meeting of the Berne Union in Dubrovnik this week. The gathering of more than 270 representatives from the largest global credit and investment insurers is a unique opportunity to get the most up-to-date information on developments in the global insurance business.
Berne Union insurers insure more than USD 2.5 trillion in transactions each year.
The content of the meetings was very broad – from cooperation in support of specific projects involving Slovak exporters, through the establishment of new partnerships to the potential support of projects of strategic interest to the Slovak Republic.
Eximbanka, which has been active in the structures of the Berne Union for more than 20 years and is a worthy partner also for institutions of a multiply larger scale, took full advantage of this opportunity and during the three days attended a number of bilateral meetings.
