Slovarm is a Slovak manufacturer of fittings, valves, sanitary fittings and measuring equipment based in Myjava. The company has been on the market since 2000 and continues a long tradition of production in the region. It was established as the successor of Slovak Armatúrka Myjava, thus continuing the long tradition of manufacturing fittings for air, water, steam and central heating distribution.
The beginnings of production date back to before the Second World War, when the foundations of the brass production programme were laid. After the transformation of the centrally controlled economy into a market economy, the company gradually went into insolvency in the 1990s and ceased operations.
Major customers include global companies such as Stiebel Eltron, Daikin, Honeywell, Nibe or VAG Georg Fischer. Up to three quarters of Slovarm’s production is exported, mainly to the Czech Republic and the Balkans. Its 100% shareholder is the family-owned Energy Group, which operates in the engineering, agriculture and energy sectors.
