The subject of the discussions was the current situation in the UK and the interest in using the Slovak embassy in London to support exports to the UK and vice versa.
Slovak exports to the UK are driven by exports in the automotive sector. The involvement of Slovak companies in R&D in various areas is being tested.
The UK, like Slovakia, is facing the challenge of consolidation, and the economic situation, linked to tariffs and the change in global trade, is significantly altered. New operating models are being sought. Slovakia sees new opportunities and Eximbanka and the Embassy will work together to bring opportunities to Slovak exporters.
