Economic Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic) in cooperation with the Council of Slovak Exporters(Export.sk) organized today an Export Forum, the aim of which was to provide Slovak companies with export potential the opportunity for an active dialogue with state institutions supporting exports.
The Forum also offered participants the opportunity to meet economic diplomats working at Slovak diplomatic missions in more than 70 countries and to discuss personally the possibilities of penetrating foreign markets during G2B meetings.
The topics of this year’s forum were focused on current geopolitical developments and their impact on international trade, territorial diversification of exports or entry into new markets.
The event was opened by Juraj Blanár , Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and Martin Vojtasovic, State Secretary @Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.
In the main panel: World on the Move – Geopolitical Risks/Changes and their Impact on the Slovak Economy was discussed by Rastislav Chovanec, Marek Radvansky, Juraj Miskov and Branislav Haban.
In the expert discussion on the topic “Digitalization of pro-export tools and export diversification – opening new markets” discussed Marek Csabay, Ing.Rastislav Podhorec, MBA, Robert Šimončič and Peter Mucina.
In the 2nd expert discussion on the topic “Defence industry – a chance for the development of innovations, technologies and economic growth” Juraj Mrenica , Silvia Horváthová, Ervín Haramia, Tomas MAROS and Ján Michálek discussed.
The event also included the presentation of awards by the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Mr. Juraj Blanár, to three selected Slovak exporters(Heneken Group, TATRAVAGONKA a.s. and VUJE, a.s.) for their cooperation and contribution to the promotion of Slovakia’s economic interests, accompanied by a short musical performance.
