Eximbanka is looking for companies that contribute to sustainable development in the areas of business, society, infrastructure, digitalisation, education, health, environment or culture with their products, technology or services, or export activities.
Exporters wishing to receive the Exporter of the Year 2024 award must meet at least two criteria set by the expert committee. The company should add value through its products, services or technologies. Another prerequisite is the ability to make a positive impact on society and the community, as well as contributing to improving the quality of life, developing infrastructure, promoting education, employment and social inclusion.
The expert panel will also assess the level of commitment to environmental, climate and energy sustainability. An important criterion is also the level of growth achieved and the success of the company in terms of implementing export activities.
“At a time when exports account for approximately 90 per cent of our GDP and are such an important driver of the economy, the Exporter of the Year award is an opportunity to highlight companies that contribute to improving the business environment through their work and commitment, excel on the international stage and thus help build Slovakia’s reputation abroad,” said Rastislav Podhorec, Eximbanka’s CEO.
Exporters who meet the requirements, along with the minimum turnover and the specified share of exports in total sales, can register on Eximbanka’s website I want to become Exporter of the Year 2024 until 31 July this year. The winning company will be announced at the TREND TOP awards ceremony.
