Students of the 2nd year of the course Entrepreneurship in Practice: the EXIMBANKA SR club at the University of Economics in Bratislava can look forward to the third year. Experts from Eximbanka will give lectures on foreign trade and export promotion, which will enable students to gain practical knowledge.
According to Eximbanka’s research, there is a growing interest in Ukraine (19%), sub-Saharan Africa (16%) and the Western Balkans (15%). Companies are also attracted to Southeast Asia and Latin America, but they face a lack of contacts, financial security and unfamiliarity with the territories when expanding.
This week Eximbanka initiated a coordination meeting with key institutional partners – the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency. We discussed joint plans and activities to support Slovak exports in the second half of 2025.
The specific opportunities for Slovak exporters in connection with the reconstruction of Ukraine were discussed by Rastislav Podhorec, MBA, Director General of Eximbanka, and Zuzana Kaparová, Head of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Representation in Slovakia, in the programme Investujeme on TA3, moderated by Lenka Buchláková.
