The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with SARIO, the European Commission, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic would like to invite you to the EU Export Day event, which will take place on 16 October 2025 in the Congress Hall of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
The event is intended for representatives of Slovak companies. Its aim is to present concrete solutions to strengthen export readiness and increase the competitiveness of companies on markets outside the EU. The event will also present the current European Union and Slovak export support instruments, including practical forms of public and financial assistance that facilitate entry into non-EU markets.
At the same time, it will help companies to better navigate trade barriers to exporting to third countries and present ways to effectively address these barriers.
In recent years, the EU, in cooperation with Member States, has introduced a number of new instruments to support exporters:
- Access2Markets is an online portal that provides SMEs with comprehensive information in all EU languages on trading in more than 120 markets outside the EU. Businesses can find practical information on the conditions for entering foreign markets, possible barriers and how to identify them.
- If companies encounter barriers to trade in markets outside the EU, they can report them via the Single Entry Point. The European Commission will then investigate the situation and, if necessary, take appropriate action.
