Meeting with representatives of the Critical Infrastructure Association of the Slovak Republic

On Tuesday, 16 December, senior representatives of Eximbank met with representatives of the Association of Critical Infrastructure of the Slovak Republic (AKI). At the working meeting, the AKI delegation, led by its President Tibor Straka, presented the mission, goals and vision of this organization, presented the importance of the critical infrastructure area it covers, as well as the continuing relevance of the topic of critical infrastructure protection in the context of current security and technological challenges.

With Eximbanka’s CEO Rastislav Podhorc and his deputies Milan Horváth and Igor Barát, AKI representatives discussed the possibilities of cooperation with the association and its individual members, as well as the support of potential AKI projects. The meeting created a space to identify commonalities and outlined the direction of further professional dialogue with the aim of strengthening the mutual ties between Eximbank and AKI.

The Association of Critical Infrastructure of the Slovak Republic (AKI) is a professional organization that brings together key players in the critical infrastructure, cybersecurity and defence industry since 2025. As an independent and non-political platform, it focuses on creating optimal conditions for the operation and protection of critical infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity and promoting innovation in these strategically important areas.
