At the June meeting of the OECD Consensus, the OECD member countries adjusted the classification of three countries in the so-called Country Risk Ranking.

Slovakia becomes one of ten EU countries to join the European initiative to promote trade with Ukraine.

At its June meeting, the OECD Consensus member countries decided on a new classification of the three countries. Mongolia improved by one level, while Bangladesh and Senegal dropped by one level in the country risk ranking.

Rastislav Podhorec, CEO of Eximbanka and Matúš Šársky, Director of International Relations of Eximbanka, took part in a business mission to Croatia on 1 July 2025, organised by SARIO, the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Zagreb.

Igor Barat, Deputy CEO of Eximbanka was 19. – 20 June 2025 part of the business part of the delegation that visited Slovenia as part of the visit of the President of the Slovak Republic Petr Pellegrini.

Representatives of Eximbanka (Rastislav Podhorec and Matúš Šársky) were part of the delegation of Slovak Prime Minister Róbert Fico to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. This is in line with the strategy to create conditions for the expansion of Slovak exporters to priority territories in accordance with the Programme Declaration of the Government.

“Recently, we have noticed our clients’ concerns stemming from the uncertainty in the global markets. Our aim is to be a stabilising element for Slovak exporters, to respond flexibly to their demand and to provide them with the necessary solutions,” said Igor Barát, Deputy CEO of Eximbanka, during a meeting with banks at the Visegrad 4 Business conference held on 10 June 2025 in Bratislava.

On 6 June, a global meeting of Slovak Honorary Consuls took place in Trenčianske Teplice. Rastislav Podhorec, CEO of Eximbanka, and Matúš Šársky, Director of International Relations, attended the meeting on behalf of Eximbanka.

On 5 June 2025, the EU ECA Summit of Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) took place in Luxembourg. Eximbanka was represented by its CEO Rastislav Podhorec and Matúš Šársky, Director of International Relations.
