Indian market offers opportunities for Slovak exporters

Representatives of Eximbanka (Rastislav Podhorec, Igor Barát, Matúš Šársky) met with Ambassador Robert Maxián and Economic Diplomat Simona Novosadová at the Slovak Embassy in New Delhi during last week’s working trip to India. The topic of the meeting was the specifics and opportunities that the Indian market offers to Slovak exporters.

For the Indian market, a reliable partner is particularly important for a Slovak exporter. The first such partner is often the Slovak Embassy, which helps not only in emergency situations, but also in identifying and vetting business partners and provides support in communicating with the authorities. Once the cooperation is concluded, the Slovak exporter can also use Eximbanka’s product portfolio to support exports.

Representatives of Eximbanka also held a meeting with the leadership of India’s largest chamber of commerce FICCI (Anshuan Khanna, Amit Kumar Tripathi, Mrityunjoy Mukherjee), which has been in the market for 100 years. Discussions touched upon the Indian commercial banking market, the role of export credit agencies and the solutions that Eximbanka can provide to Indian buyers of Slovak goods and services.
