Health Day at Eximbank: Prevention can save a life

Today, May 6, 2026, we have prepared a Health Day for our employees focused on prevention, safety and health care. The programme included both expert lectures and practical training sessions, which provided useful information that can be used in everyday life.

Employees took part in first aid courses under the guidance of Pavel Olle, a paramedic from the HaZZ in Bratislava, where they learned the basics of proper response in crisis situations and first aid in life-threatening situations.

The programme was complemented by an expert lecture by doc. MUDr. Vladimír Bella, PhD., head of the mammology department of the Oncological Institute of St. Elizabeth, devoted to the prevention and early diagnosis of breast diseases.

Regular prevention and health care are essential for employee wellbeing and a functioning work environment. As pointed out during the lecture by doc. MUDr. Vladimír Bella, PhD., “those who want to save their lives should undergo a preventive examination at least once a year.”
