Final round of approval of the proposal for the renewal of energy infrastructure in Ukraine

Eximbanka together with the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAMRS) is preparing for the final round of approval of the draft project portfolio for the rehabilitation of energy infrastructure in Ukraine under the Ukraine Investment Framework.

In this regard, representatives of Eximbanka today held a series of meetings with partners from Ukraine, the European Commission and Slovak ministries and agencies.

The European Commission experts first discussed with their colleagues responsible for risk management and international relations the set-up of Eximbanka’s and SAMRS’ internal processes.

In the next phase, Ing.Rastislav Podhorec, MBA, Director General of Eximbanka held negotiations with the management of the Ukrainian state energy company UKRENERGO on specific projects, the implementation of which will be supported by Eximbanka and SAMRS.

Eximbanka continues to implement the commitments resulting from the material approved by the Government of the Slovak Republic and continues to play a key role in Slovakia’s involvement in the reconstruction of Ukraine together with its partners.
