Today, Eximbanka hosted the Uzbek Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Mr. Laziz Kudratov, together with a delegation (Bakhtier Ibragimov, Akram Aliev, Abrorjon Nematov, Javokhir Kenjaboev, Horunbek Azimjonov, Mamur Rasulov)
On behalf of Eximbanka, the meeting was attended by Ing.Rastislav Podhorec, MBA, CEO of Eximbanka, Igor Barat, Deputy CEO of Eximbanka and Matúš Šársky, Director of International Relations of Eximbanka.
The Uzbek side appreciated Eximbanka’s approach in connection with the implementation of the project of the Slovak exporter in Uzbekistan, which Eximbanka supports in the form of a pilot preferential export credit.
Eximbanka actively communicates with all relevant Slovak exporters interested in investment and export activities in Uzbekistan.
Eximbanka assured the Uzbek side of its readiness to support any viable project of a Slovak exporter in Uzbekistan and thanked the Uzbek partners for their long-term support.
Eximbanka is ready to materialize cooperation with Uzbekinvest EIIC JSC in connection with the support of projects of common interest in Uzbekistan.
Eximbanka also reported on the opportunities to support larger strategic projects in Uzbekistan through Eximbanka and commercial banks using EU support and guarantee instruments (e.g. under the Global Gateway).
