Eximbanka’s CEO Ing.Rastislav Podhorec, MBA together with Matúš Šársky, Eximbanka’s Director of International Relations, attended the 17. and 18 November 2025 in Paris on the occasion of the OECD-OCDE Working Groups on Officially Supported Export Credits.
The meeting with Marion Jansen (Director, Trade and Agriculture Directorate) and Silvia Gavornikova (Head of Export Credits and Competitiveness Division) focused on the current challenges faced by exporters of OECD member countries.
Eximbanka stressed that greater flexibility, clarity and clarity of the international framework for state-supported export credits is key to strengthening the competitiveness of exporters, especially from smaller economies.
During the meeting, the Director General made a presentation on Eximbanka’s activities in the area of supporting Slovak exports to Ukraine and its contribution to the reconstruction of its energy infrastructure.
During the bilateral meeting with the Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the OECD František Ružička, the current priorities of Slovakia within the OECD were discussed.
In November 2025, Slovakia marks 25 years of membership in the OECD. Eximbanka actively represents Slovakia in working groups on export credits and contributes its voice to the development of international rules.Our priority is to ensure that international regulation realistically takes into account the specificities of Slovak exports and ensures a level playing field for Slovak exporters as for the major OECD economies.
