EU ECA SUMMIT in Prague

Ing.Rastislav Podhorec, MBA, CEO of Eximbanka and Igor Barat, Deputy CEO of Eximbanka for Banking, together with twenty European export credit agencies and the European Investment Bank in the days on November 24
24. and on 25 November 2025 participated in the 9th EU ECA Summit in Prague.

Discussions covered the EU’s Global Gateway Initiative, the role of export credit agencies in Ukraine’s reconstruction, and OECD – OCDE and European Investment Bank (EIB) issues.

The debate also touched on the Czech initiative, which seeks to create a common European mechanism for securing export credit agencies, which would allow them to increase their capacity without a direct impact on the European Union budget.
