A coordinated approach to strengthen Slovakia’s export performance

A working meeting of the CEO Rastislav Podhorec and the Deputy CEO Igor Barát with the State Secretary of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Recovery and Resilience Plan and Knowledge Economy Alena Sabelová took place today at the Eximbank’s premises. Rokovanie bolo zamerané na zhodnotenie doterajšej spolupráce a identifikáciu nových príležitostí v oblasti podpory slovenských exportérov.

Particular attention was paid to export support to Ukraine: the discussion also touched upon the application of the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) scheme, under which Eximbank, in cooperation with the European Commission and the SAMRS agency, provides financing and support for the implementation of projects for the rehabilitation and development of energy infrastructure in Ukraine.

A. Sabelová and R. Podhorec also opened the topic of new forms of cooperation outside the Ukrainian context – at the global level, with an emphasis on strengthening the competitiveness of Slovak exporters and their active participation in international projects.

The Eximbank’s objective remains to systematically strengthen Slovakia’s export performance through a coordinated approach in identifying strategic opportunities and effective support solutions.
