Montenegro offers opportunities for exporters

Rastislav Podhorec, CEO of Eximbanka and Matúš Šársky, Director of International Relations of Eximbanka were today part of the delegation on the occasion of the state visit of the President of the Slovak Republic Petr Pellegrini to Montenegro.

The business delegation consisted of more than 30 companies with the ambition to expand into the Montenegrin market.

Montenegro is not large in terms of area or population, but its economy is developing dynamically in view of its EU accession ambitions.

In addition to traditional sectors such as travel, Montenegro is also interested in embarking on a transformation path in the energy sector, towards a greater inclusion of RES in the energy mix.

Slovak companies can play an important role in this process and position their solutions on the Montenegrian market.

In addition, Eximbanka initiated a dialogue at the institutional level and declared to its partners its readiness to help Montenegro to set up a state export support system and to share its experience from more than 27 years of operation in the market.
