Slovak companies have been successful in the countries of South-Eastern Europe for a long time and, despite strong international competition, have been winning significant investment and development contracts. Eximbanka is currently supporting a number of Slovak export investments in Croatia and Slovenia, especially in the field of logistics, construction of industrial and administrative buildings and development of modern sustainable infrastructure.
In the second half of May, representatives of Eximbanka paid a working visit to selected projects in Zdenčina and Brnik, which are among the important supra-regional logistics and industrial investments with the participation of Slovak investors.
The programme included a tour of the modern distribution centre in Zdenčina near Zagreb, where a logistics park with a total leasable area of more than 120,000 m² is being built. The project consists of a number of halls built to the future client’s requirements (build-to-suit), with an emphasis on high operational efficiency, environmental solutions and sustainability. The strategic location in direct connection to the A1 motorway ensures an efficient logistic connection between Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik.
Representatives of Eximbanka then proceeded to the Brnik site near Ljubljana, Slovenia, where projects for modern production, warehouse and distribution facilities are under construction in the immediate vicinity of the international airport. The location is one of the most important logistics hubs in Slovenia and currently registers a high demand for quality industrial and warehousing capacity.
Eximbanka has long supported Slovak exporters in their foreign expansion and financing of projects with high added value. Investments in Croatia and Slovenia confirm the growing competitiveness of Slovak companies in the field of industrial development, logistics and modern infrastructure solutions.
