Matúš Šársky, Eximbanka’s International Relations Director, presented information on the opportunities offered by Eximbanka in the area of support for exporters’ involvement in development projects at last week’s event “Get involved in development cooperation” organised by the Slovak Agency for Investment and Trade Development (SARIO), the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic (MZVEZ SR) and the Slovak Agency for International Development Co-operation (SAMRS).
Numerous interactions with entrepreneurs have confirmed the ever-growing interest of exporters in development cooperation projects.
Eximbanka, in addition to financial or insurance instruments (preferential export credits), together with SAMRS, is an institution with the right to participate in development projects of delegated EU cooperation. A successful example is e.g. the activity in the territory of Ukraine.
Eximbanka is also preparing to launch a service through which entrepreneurs will receive information not only about open but also about upcoming tender opportunities in their territory of interest.
Part of Eximbanka’s services is also consulting – we will gladly advise the exporter on structuring the financial parameters of contact with the buyer so that the cooperation between the exporter and the buyer is really beneficial for both (Slovak exporter – safe export and buyer – favorable conditions for the purchase of Slovak production).
In addition, Eximbanka is working with the MZVEZ SR to operationalise a scheme that would contribute to more systematic linking of civil society, consultancies and exporters on joint structured projects.
