In order to reward the best export companies operating on the Slovak market, EXIMBANKA SR is introducing a new challenge for entrepreneurs with an active orientation towards foreign markets. The challenge is intended for companies that contribute to positive changes and improvement of the quality of the business environment and society through their export activities and help to build a good name for Slovakia abroad.
Within the new category EXPORTER OF THE YEAR of the prestigious TREND TOP ranking, EXIMBANKA SR, as the sponsor of the newly established category, invites companies with interesting stories, which with their product, technology or service, resp. export activities and projects bring positive changes to the market in various aspects of not only business, but also society and the environment. An export company that wants to go down in history as the first winner of the “Exporter of the Year” award must meet at least two of the following evaluation criteria set by the expert committee.
A company should add value through its products, services or technologies, through innovative solutions, support for science, research and digitalisation.
Another important aspect is the social impact of the company, i.e. its ability to positively influence society and the community. It assesses the extent to which its exports contribute to improving quality of life, developing infrastructure, promoting education, employment and social inclusion.
Environmental protection and sustainable business practices are essential attributes of successful companies today.
We also look at the extent to which the company is committed to environmental, climate and energy sustainability in its export activities.
Important criteria for the evaluation are also the level of growth achieved and the success of the company in relation to the implementation of export activities. The company, which through its export activities helps to literally “open doors” for other Slovak companies on international markets, is also an exceptional example that deserves recognition.
Exporters who meet the required criteria, together with the minimum turnover as one of the nomination conditions, have the opportunity to apply and register on the EXIMBANKA SR website only until 11. August 2023.
The final winner is decided by a vote of the personalities of economic life registered in the TREND Barometer, the readers of TREND and TREND.sk, the editorial staff and the category sponsor EXIMBANKA SR. The winning company will be announced at the awards ceremony during the TREND TOP gala evening.
