Eximbank’s net profit should reach EUR 600,000 in 2025

Yesterday (3 December 2024) the National Council of the Slovak Republic approved the Eximbank’s budget for 2025.

The main objective of the budget is to continue trade activities related to the promotion of exports of Slovak companies with an emphasis on the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Geographically, Eximbank intends to focus on the European Union member states, the countries of the South Caucasus, Ukraine, the Middle East, Central, South and South-East Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Balkans, Great Britain, Turkey and China.

Eximbank does not expect a significant change in the commodity structure of supported exports next year. Thus, the largest share will continue to be held by the chemical, engineering, pulp and paper and electrical engineering industries.
