EXIMBANKA SR has a new Director General and two new members of the Management Board. The new Chairman of the Board of the Bank and CEO of EXIMBANKA SR will become the new Chairman of the Board of EXIMBANKA SR with effect from 7. Rastislav Podhorec, who until now worked as Deputy Director General at EXIMBANK SR, will become Director General of the Bank on December 2023. Milan Horváth is a new member of the Bank’s Supervisory Board and Deputy CEO for Finance and Insurance. Igor Lichnovský, who will not be an employee of EXIMBANKA SR, is also a new external member of the Bank’s Council.
“My vision is for Eximbanka to stand by Slovak exporters and support them in entering new, as well as established markets abroad. Eximbanka is eager to grow and to continue to contribute with its products, knowledge and relationships to the development of economic contacts of Slovak companies abroad and thus to the growth of Slovakia’s exports,” said Rastislav Podhorec, who wants to build on the innovative processes that Eximbanka launched at the beginning of the year. “In addition to traditional companies, we would also like to support companies from the new economy that contribute to building the brand of Slovakia,” concluded Rastislav Podhorec, CEO of EXIMBANKA SR.
Ing. Rastislav Podhorec, MBA, has extensive work experience in the banking and insurance sector and has previously worked at Eximbank as Deputy General Manager for Finance and Insurance. Previously, he served as CEO of AIG Funds Central Europe, founded and chaired the Association of Financial Intermediaries and Financial Advisors, was a member of the Board of the Guarantee Fund for Investments, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Asset Management Companies and a member of the Supervisory Board of Eximbank.
Ing. Milan Horváth, has many years of experience working in both the banking and insurance sectors. He has held several senior positions at Eximbank, the National Bank of Slovakia and the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
Ing. Igor Lichnovský, has many years of experience in the banking and insurance sector and in the field of foreign trade. In the past, he was CEO of Eximbank and later Chairman of its Supervisory Board.
